In 2023, the development of the main indicators of population for standard of living continued, and the average wage as of May 1, 2023 in Tajikistan was 1905.83 somoni, which is 257.71 somoni (16 percent) more than in 2022, or 117.03 somoni (6.6 percent) more than the beginning of this year.

The average wage in GBAO is 1719.77 somoni, Sughd region 1765.52 somoni, Khatlon region 1486.47 somoni, Dushanbe city 2709.33 somoni and RRS is 1538.19 somoni.

During this period, according to the General Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Tajikistan and the Union of Employers of the Republic of Tajikistan for the years 2021-2023, a number of activities were performed in cooperation with social partners, as a result more than 52 sectoral agreements and 17 regional agreements were signed between employers and sectoral committees of trade unions.

As of July 1, 2023, more than 33 thousand enterprises are active in the country, regardless of the form of ownership, of which 18.9 thousand enterprises have the right to sign a collective agreement, 86.3 percent of which are covered by contracts and agreements.

Also, during this period, the joint order was signed between the Ministries of labour, migration and employment, finance, health and social protection of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the approval of the Procedure and sample standards for free provision of special clothes, special shoes and other personal protective equipment to employees".

During the first half of 2023, the activities of 1192 enterprises were inspected, as a result of which 5 thousand 752 violations of the law were revealed. Out of the total number of law violations, 2 thousand 831 cases are related to non-state organizations and institutions, and 2 thousand 921 cases are related to state institutions. As a result of these tests, 25 106 177 somoni were transferred to the state budget and for the benefit of citizens.

492 managers and other responsible persons of enterprises were brought to administrative responsibility for committing administrative violations in the field of labour, migration and employment.
