Today, June 2, 2026, in  the Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan held an event  dedicated to the 29th anniversary of national unity, on the topic "The Role of Women in Strengthening the National Unity of the Country."

The event was attended by Norzoda Sharif Sanginmurod, Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration and Employment of the Republic of Tajikistan, Karimzoda Rukhshona, head of the Women's Affairs Department of the Executive Committee of the PDPT in Dushanbe, as well as members of the primary organization of the PDPT, employees of the central apparatus of the Agency for Labor and Employment of the Population and government agencies of the ministry system.

 In their speeches, the speakers noted that Tajikistan's national unity is not only the foundation for the revival of statehood and societal stability, but also an important political and spiritual value. It is due to national unity that an atmosphere of peace and stability, mutual understanding, patriotism, and respect for national values has been strengthened in the country, creating a favourable foundation for the sustainable development of society. Participants also noted that the Tajik experience in peacebuilding and peaceful conflict resolution is recognized as a valuable example in the international arena, and that the historical contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, is significant.

 At the same time, it was reported that women, through their active participation, play an important role in strengthening national unity and make a valuable contribution to the development of the country's socio-economic sectors, as well as to public and political life.
